This work springs from my interest in the potential of video as a poetic form. As in written poetry, there is an attempt to arrive at essence, a privileging of metaphor over explanatory detail. Using a quartet form, this work approaches the subject of major life transition. There is a sense of passing time, of the changing seasons, of reflection and a focus on the beauty of the mundane.
